Dear friends,

The student teams and staff of MIT's 2.009 Product Engineering Processes class invite you to participate in the extraordinary launch of their 6 new product prototypes. This year's design theme is CONNECT! Come and cheer on our student teams!

Monday, December 7, 2026
MIT Kresge Auditorium
Presentations 7:30PM sharp - 9:45PM
Reserved seating until 7:15PM

Tickets for the general public are available via Eventbrite Tickets for the general public will be available on this page on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please sign up on the interest form to be added to our mailing list where we will send more about ticket information as well as reminders for the final presentations. We will release half of the general admission tickets on Monday, November 30 at 12:30 pm ET and half on Tuesday, December 1 at 5:30 pm ET. When you check out, you will be able to reserve one or two tickets. You are enthusiastically encouraged to invite colleagues, friends, and family by sending them this page as well.

When you arrive at the event, please check in with 2.009 staff to receive a wristband for admission into Kresge Auditorium. Seats within the auditorium are not assigned, and after 7:15 pm, open seats are made available to standby ticket holders.

During the presentations, all guests are invited to ask questions of the teams after each presentation. This is a valued part of the educational experience. So, too, is the reception that follows at Kresge, where you can mingle with students and friends and further discuss their products and product brochure materials.

If you cannot attend in person, we hope you will join our live broadcast. For more event details, including parking information, please see our FAQ

We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

The Staff and Students of 2.009
